Meet More of Me on Monday…

And another Monday morning catch-up, hosted by Java on Never Growing Old.

1. What do you put on your hot dog?

Water, of course, to cool him down!

2. Do you play Sudoku?

Yes, I love Sudoku, especially the killer kind where you have to work out the sum before filling in the number. It’s amazingly addictive once you get into it and I like to think it keeps my brain active (ish).

3. What is your favourite vegetable?

Sorry, Bernie, but it’s gotta be broccoli, and it’s gotta be crunchy. If it’s cooked for too long, it turns all slimy and mushy and that’s just gross!

4. Do you colour your hair?

Does a bear crap in the woods?

I’m nearly all grey under my hair-dye – I’ve had a hard life, peeps. I like auburn or red shades the best – once, I thought I’d do as the TV told me and ‘be a shade braver’. I ended up with a mad mass of postbox red curls, and could I tone it down? Nope! I had to wear a baseball cap for a fortnight until it faded!

Obviously I should’ve shaved first…

5. What is your favourite brand of clothing?

Personally I prefer the Charity Shop brand of clothes – cheap ‘n’ cheerful! I’m a jeans or long skirt and woolly jumpers kind of girl. Occasionally I try to be feminine and go for the whole made-up, glitzy, sexy female, but I never seem to get the look quite right…

  1. I haven’t done one of Java’s MMOM’s in a long time! Maybe next Monday if I have nothing in que for posting.

Corn, that’s my favorite veggie! I like my broccoli uncooked.
I don’t normally dye my hair, but did about 3 weeks ago. I’m all grey in just the front. I hate it. But some women have complimented me and want to know if I do it on purpose (“how do you get the grey like that”). Oh yeah, I love being grey. Special hair dye and everything. Right.

Wow, and I’ve seen those postboxes!! THAT’S RED!!! Don’t blame you for hiding under a cap! I guess redying it would have made matters worse.

Does Trinny and Suzanne still do “What Not To Wear”? I’ll nominate you! You would have a ball!! I would LOVE to go on $5000 shopping spree with Stacy London here in NYC! It would be epic television. Me in NYC, little miss country bumpkin! And my big mouth. The out takes would be hilarious!

    • Noooooo! No way am I standing in their three-way mirror cubicle thing in my undies! Dear God! All those bumps and lumps; it’d be like watching Star Wars in 3D 🙂 I’ll tell you what, though – we could do it together! Or does that sound really pervy?!

I’ve got a pure grey streak just at the front, too! I look like Cruella De Ville, honestly! And yes, that red was RED! I even had kids comment about it in the street!! 🙂

Yum! I’m a corn lover too – just as long as it’s smothered in butter. Raw broccoli? Never tried that one. I’ll have to, now and see what it tastes like!

  3. Very puny about the dog. *lol*

You could have added another color to the red, like black streaks perhaps? Oh, so stylish.

    • I know, sorry! I’m not a hot-dog lover and that sounded sad and boring, so I went for the cute dog instead!

I was too scared to do anything else to my hair – just in case it fell out or turned lime-green or something! That’s the beauty of red shades though, they do fade quite quickly!
